Your factory amplifier is designed to work best with your original factory sound system and has pre-set limitations set by the vehicle manufacturer through the radio. This means you would not get the optimal sound you want from your aftermarket gear. If your vehicle has a built-in digital amplifier and you plan to install upgraded aftermarket speakers or a subwoofer, you will need to bypass the factory amplifier with an aftermarket amplifier.
