This new kit has been updated from Metra’s original 99-8227 dash kit design with a more modern radio opening and brackets, along with vent dial trim panels for a better fit.

Holly Hill, Fla. – Metra Electronics® is now shipping a new dash kit designed to upgrade 2021-up* Ford E-Series Cutaway models to fit a larger Double-DIN aftermarket radio. The 95-5860G dash kit uses a trim panel to cover the minor cutting modifications required to fit the larger radio into the factory dash panel. The trim panel is textured, painted gray, and made from the highest quality ABS plastic to match the original factory appearance. MetraAV™ is bringing two new HDMI® extenders and a new audio extender to the 2021 CEDIA Expo, expanding its product line of AV distribution electronics. A new 4x4 matrix that includes extenders and has built-in compatibility features gives integrators a high-quality solution that is also budget-friendly. A new HDMI extender sends a 4K/30 signal up to 40 meters or up to 70 meters at 1080p over single Cat6 cable. For audio, MetraAV is also showcasing a new extender that supports analog, optical, and digital coax, providing a flexible solution for integrators.

Spyclops Surveillance Systems® by MetraAV™ is now shipping two new IP cameras supporting 4K with the latest in color night vision technology and has also introduced three new and improved power distribution boxes. The cameras have a built-in microphone and are available in a low-profile mini bullet and mini turret dome style option, the SPY-MNBLT3WIP8 and SPY-MNDM3WIP8. The distribution boxes are available in options to manage up to 5, 9, or 18 surveillance cameras. These new products are in stock and will be on display at the 2021 CEDIA Expo at booth 3600.

Holly Hill, FL – Axxess® by Metra Electronics® has a new interface, the AXA2B-FD1, designed to retain the A2B® amplifier in Ford’s 2018-up* F-150 and 2017-up* Fusion models. This add-on amplifier interface is used when replacing the factory radio with Metra’s 99-5834CH and 99-5841B TurboTouch® dash kits, which are sold separately. This solution retains the Bang & Olufsen® amplifier with an A2B® input in Ford’s F-150 and retains the Sony® amplifier with an A2B® input in Ford Fusion. This Axxess interface also retains the balance audio feature when replacing the factory radio and is Micro “B” USB updatable.
Holly Hill, FL – Metra Electronics® is now shipping two new dash kits with their biggest built-in touchscreen yet; a 7-inch color display. These new TurboTouch® dash kits are the first of their kind, with previous kits in this series having a 4.3-inch built-in touchscreen in addition to the opening for the aftermarket radio screen. The 95-6552B dash kit fits 2015 and up* Dodge Charger models and the 95-6553B fits 2015 and up* Chrysler 300 models, giving the interior a high-tech, upgraded look and feel. The kits include the necessary wiring harness, antenna adapter, steering wheel control interface, USB/AUX-IN replacement panel, and data interface for a complete installation.
