Install Bay to Show New Professional Installation Products at 2024 SEMA

Holly Hill, FL – Install Bay^® by Metra Electronics^® will display new additions to its comprehensive collection of professional installation products at SEMA, November 5th to 8th at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Visitors can see these new products in Metra's main booth, #10439, in the North Hall and at its off-roading and powersports booth, #24743, in the Central Hall. The brand will debut a new 120 series SB^®connector kit, flush mount USB type-C charging socket, a level controller with voltmeter, extension cables, cable management clamp sets, window tint installation tools, and more.

120 Series SB^®Connector Kit

The SB120-G is a gray connector housing kit, ideal for use on battery or charger applications, that provides a quick disconnect for power distribution systems. It is designed using reliable SB^® flat-wiping

contact technology so that the contacts wipe or slide against each other during connection and disconnection, minimizing the build-up of any non-conductive deposits on the contacts themselves. The mated housings are color-matched for easy identification of plug and receptacle connectors.

Flush Mount USB Type-C Charging Socket

The IBR142 socket provides fast charging for smartphones, tablets, and other devices with a Type-C port. The PD3.0 power supply standard ensures a faster battery charge than traditional USB chargers and prevents devices from draining while in use. It can be installed by mounting it within a port in the vehicle's dash or center console or mounting it to the dash surface with the supplied flush-mount bracket. This socket features weather-resistant components, including a protective cover and a pre-wired mini-ATC fuse holder, making it an ideal solution for marine applications.

Level Controller with Voltmeter

The IBR143 is a level controller with a built-in voltmeter that prevents damage to a vehicle's audio equipment. It combines a power switch, bass knob, and voltmeter, making it easy to adjust the bass level and consistently monitor amplifier voltage to avoid drops or spikes. This unit offers remote gain control, a

rotary pushable ON/OFF switch, and a digital voltmeter display.

Flush Mount USB 4.0 Type-C Extension Cables

Available in 1-meter (IBR144) or 1-foot (IBR145) lengths, Install Bay's new USB 4.0 Type-C extension cables can be installed by feeding through a port in the dash or by mounting beneath the dash with the supplied flush-mount bracket to easily connect USB-C devices. USB 4.0 is the latest specification of USB, offering data transfer speeds up to 40Gbps to ensure reliable CarPlay^® and Android^™ audio performance.

100-Piece Modular Cable Management Clamp Sets

The Install Bay has two new modular cable management clamp sets in 8GA to 4GA (IBCTKIT75) or 4GA to 1/0GA (IBCTKIT100). These cable clamp sets make it easy for installers to secure and organize wiring for show-quality audio installations. The included cable clamps feature a unique dovetail click-lock design that attaches single or bundled wires to surfaces and allows multiple clamps to be assembled in creative configurations, keeping wires evenly spaced in straight runs or around corners.

Window Tint, PPF, Vinyl, and Film Installation Tools

New hard cards and specialized scrubbing tools for tint and film installers will be at SEMA. The cherry suede blade tool (GT2097-4) and lemon suede blade tool (GT2096-4) are multipurpose card-shaped installation tools with both hard and soft edges. They each offer their own level of flexibility and contour to surfaces to smooth bumps and bubbles from materials. The GT2003PLT is a platinum easy-reach hard card designed to reach difficult corners. The tint installer's scrubber tool, the GT209, has a 15-inch handle that extends its scrub pad, allowing installers to scrub the lower windshield and other hard-to-reach areas. The scrub-it blue pad (GT2120B) is an ergonomic scrubbing tool that attaches to an installer's hand with an included hook-and-loop style strap for easier scrubbing of stubborn glue and contaminants.

Metra's new dash kit for the 2011-2018.5 Jeep^® Wrangler JK, the DP-6511-JK, includes a replacement dashboard panel engineered to help install a 4” tall (Double-DIN) aftermarket radio in a dash that does not typically accommodate a modern Double-DIN radio. The replacement panel allows installers to upgrade the radio without complex or labor-intensive custom fabrication. It is textured to match the original look and feel of the vehicle’s dashboard.

Metra's new solutions for Pioneer^® modular solutions receivers are exclusively manufactured to install Pioneer’s 6.8-inch modular receivers into the dash, like the DMH-WC5700NEX and the DMH-C2500NEX†. These kits will also accommodate most shallow-mount 4” tall (Double-DIN) aftermarket radios. They feature ABS trim panels to match the aftermarket radios' finish.

The new 95-7643 dash kit designed to fit the 2013-2020 Nissan Pathfinder combines the best of what Metra's TurboTouch and TurboTactile kits offer. This kit features easy-to-use rotary knobs that allow for the control of climate functions along with a 7” touchscreen that retains most of the features typically lost when replacing the factory radio. Additional factory-style hard buttons have laser-etched graphics for access to vehicle personalization menus. Metra’s built-in patented interface technology retains climate control, safety, and steering wheel control features. The vehicle’s hazard button and passenger airbag indicator have also been integrated into the kit, which is painted scratch-resistant matte black to match the factory finish and includes installation parts needed for a Double-DIN aftermarket radio installation.

Metra is also introducing an amplifier bypass harness (70-5526) that fits select 2004-2006 Lincoln vehicles with THX^® and an antenna adapter that fits select 2022-2024 Toyota vehicles (40-TY12). The amplifier bypass harness aids in installing a new car radio faster by plugging right into the vehicle's connectors, allowing installers to hook up the radio to the vehicle's electrical system. On one side, the wiring harness is color-coded with wires that connect or solder into the aftermarket radio/receiver. The other side has a vehicle-specific adapter that connects directly to the original radio connectors for a quicker installation without having to cut each of the wires. The antenna cable adapter ensures installers can continue using a vehicle's factory antenna when replacing the radio.

8" Under-Seat Replacement Subwoofers

These direct-replacement under-seat subwoofers are engineered to fit perfectly into the vehicle with no modifications required. 4" Plug-N-Play Front Door and Coaxial Speakers

In-Demand Late Model Jeep® Solutions are Coming to SEMA

Soundbar Adapter

The new JP-1019 allows installers to upgrade the soundbar in 2024-up* Jeep^® Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT from the 4" and 3" factory speakers to a 6-inch to 6.75-inch aftermarket speaker by cutting the interior of the factory soundbar. It offers an optional tweeter location and includes adapter plates, speaker harnesses, grille replacements, and all hardware required for installation. This adapter retains your factory dome light in the soundbar location, and the replacement grilles feature a factory-style textured finish with a custom-stamped metal grille for a stylish look.

Lower Dash Speaker Grille Cut-ins

Metra's new JP-1020 left and right lower dash speaker grille cut-ins enhance the appearance of 2024-up* Jeep^® Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT interiors when installing aftermarket speakers. They allow installers to widen the factory 4-inch opening to accommodate an upgrade to 6-inch to 6.75-inch speakers for more vivid sound while adding a bold style. These speaker covers feature a gloss black metal mesh grille with silver accents and perfectly complement the previously released JP-1017 dashboard speaker covers and the new JP-1014 dash speaker pods.

6"- 6.75" Lower Dash Speaker Pods

The new JP-1014 replacement speaker pods are designed to replace the original 4” speaker pods located under the driver and passenger side of the dashboard in the 2018-up* Jeep^® Wrangler and 2020-up* Gladiator. Each pair of pods has an ABS housing that utilizes the factory mounting locations for a secure fit that will heighten the listening experience. They are installed using the factory grommet and wiring, and a Metra 12" speaker adapter harness is included.

Dashboard Speaker Grilles

Metra's popular JP-1017 is a set of custom-designed dashboard speaker grilles designed to enhance the interior appearance of select Jeeps^® when installing aftermarket speakers. They are designed to fit the 2018-up* Wrangler JL and the 2020-up* Gladiator JT and allow speakers to be upgraded to a larger tweeter or mid-bass speaker for a more vivid sound. These speaker grilles feature a black metal grille with bold silver accents that match this year’s new JP-1020 lower dash speaker cut-ins, ensuring they complement each other perfectly.

Add-A-Sub Interface

Part of its existing product line, Metra's AXSUB-CH8 add-a-sub interface fits amplified and non-amplified 2021-up* Chrysler models, including Jeep^® Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT. It is installed at the radio location and features a 2-channel non-fading 5V RMS output, a fixed low pass frequency of 234Hz, and 250mA remote turn-on output. It includes a bass knob & vehicle-specific harness for easy installation and customization.

DSP-X Package with T-Harness

The AXDSPX-CH8 is a DSP-X package with T-harness that fits 2020-up* Chrysler models, including Jeep^® Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT. This previously introduced product in Metra's line offers installers a fast, cost-effective solution for improving the sound system with ten individually assigned output channels, the ability to password-protect your settings, and an easy-to-use smartphone app. It has an onboard digital amplifier turn-on capability with built-in technology to retain many of the vehicle's features commonly lost when installing a DSP.

DSP Package

The AXDSPX-HK5 is a complete DSP package designed to retain the OE functionality when upgrading S/PDIF amplified sound systems in select 2020-up* Hyundai/Kia vehicles. It includes a vehicle-specific amplifier bypass harness and features combined digital signal processor and data interface technologies that allow installers to upgrade their music experience and customize their sound. The DSP integrates with factory audio systems to retain chimes and voice prompts. Axxess's DSPX series features 10 channels of output and a selectable 31-band graphic EQ or 5-band parametric EQ per channel. It offers a selectable crossover slope, independent equalization for each output, and the ability to read, write, and store configurations for future recall.

Total Control Interfaces

New interfaces have been added to Axxess's Total Control series, designed for use when replacing the factory radio in select 2002-2024 Lexus/Toyota and 2007-2015 Mazda vehicles. These products utilize patented auto-detect technology that automatically detects the vehicle type, radio connection, and preset controls while allowing the ability to dual-assign steering wheel controls. They provide wires for multimedia radios (parking brake, reverse, speed sense), accessory power, 12-volt illumination output, and for retaining R.A.P. and balance and fade. The Total Control series is a universal solution designed to work with all major radio brands and can be manually programmed for most vehicles.

MOST25 Interfaces

Axxess is displaying two new interfaces for select 2009-2016 Porsche vehicles with MOST25 amplified audio systems. These interfaces provide accessory 12-volt power, parking brake, reverse, and speed sense NAV outputs, retain audio controls on the steering wheel, and are micro “B” USB updatable.

Radio Replacement Interface

A standard radio replacement data interface has been added to the lineup for select 2012-2018 Ford vehicles. This new interface retains R.A.P. (Retained Accessory Power) and provides 12-volt 10-amp accessory power and NAV output for parking brake, reverse, and speed sense. It features easy plug-n-play connectivity, and a pre-wired harness is included for Axxess's AXSWC, sold separately.

Output Generators

Two new output generators will be introduced that are designed to fit select 2014-2024 Ford vehicles. They add up to eight accessory outputs, including accessory, reverse, parking brake, high beam, left and right turn signals, illumination, and vehicle speed. These products are easy to install with plug-n-play wiring and can be configured on a Windows PC via the Axxess Updater.

Camera Retention Interface & Harnesses

Axxess is displaying a camera retention interface designed to fit select 2023-up Jeep/RAM. The AXAC-CH8 is a camera-switching interface that retains the factory backup camera and allows for the installation of an aftermarket front camera and/or side cameras that can be added to the factory radio. It can connect up to three additional camera inputs while retaining the factory camera. New camera retention harnesses will also be shown at SEMA, designed for use when replacing the factory radio to retain the factory backup camera, which can be viewed through the display screen on the aftermarket radio. New vehicle applications for these harnesses include Select 2009-2016 Ford/Lincoln, 2010-2013 Acura, and 2006-2016 Toyota.

USB Retention Adapter

The AXUSB-MI2 fits select 2020-2023 Mitsubishi vehicles. The 12-inch-long adapter cable retains the factory USB port. This product is easy to install, with the radio connecting via the rear USB input.

Heise LED Lights Up SEMA with New Products

Holly Hill, Fla. – Heise LED Lighting Systems^® by Metra Electronics^® will display new vehicle lighting and accessories at this year's SEMA show. On display will be an assortment of new chasing ambient interior accent lighting, a chasing 12V power injector, solder-on adapters, accent light covers, and more. Show visitors can see these products from November 5th to 8th at the Las Vegas Convention Center at Metra's main booth, #10439, in the North Hall and at its off-roading and powersports booth, #24743, in the Central Hall.

Chasing Ambient Interior Lighting

Four new chasing ambient interior lighting expansion packs will be at the booth that quickly and easily expand the Heise LED ambient lighting system in the interior of any vehicle. These sets all work with the Heise Connect chasing controller (HE-CHASE-CB), sold separately, allowing users to control their lighting via the free downloadable Heise Connect mobile app for smart devices. Four new chasing LED expansion packs are available:

● 36" Ambient strips 2-pack (HE-AMB-STR)

● Ambient footwell lights 2-pack (HE-AMB-FWL)

● Ambient door pocket lights 2-pack (HE-AMB-DPL)

● Ambient door handle lights 2-pack (HE-AMB-DHL)

Chasing LED 12V Power Injectors

The HE-CHASE-PIH is a package of four 12-volt power injectors that make it possible to install Heise LED chasing lighting kits as a single loop of LED lights that encircle the entire vehicle and control it all from one Heise Connect chasing controller. Simply add one of the power injectors in line with the LED strip installation every 15 feet or every 16 rock lights. This will increase the length, eliminating the problem of splitting the installation to either side of the vehicle. These

power injectors work cohesively with all Heise chasing LED lighting, including strip lights, rock lights, tube lights, wheel rings, lightbars, cube lights, underglow kits, and grille lighting kits, as part of the Heise Connect Universe (HCU).

Solder-On Adapters

New 4-packs of Heise Connect solder-on adapters will be introduced, allowing installers to customize and expand chasing LED installations using their existing controller. They can extend

Heise LED lighting by connecting one of these adapters at the end of an LED strip or in-line at any point in the harness by simply cutting the strip or extension cable connector, soldering the adapter's male and female connectors, and inserting wiring for a Y adapter, rock light, or other Heise lighting product. Four new options are available:

● Chasing, works with HE-CHASE-CB controller (HE-CHASE-4PT)

● Low voltage chasing, works with HE-CHASELV-CB controller, not compatible with HE-CHASE-CB (HE-CHASELV-4PT)

● RGB, works with HE-RGB-CB controller (HE-RGB-4PT)

● RGBW, works with HE-RGBW-CB controller (HE-RGBW-4PT)

Accent Light Covers

New black (HE-RLC-4B) and white (HE-RLC-4W) rock light cover 4-packs will be shown at SEMA that can be positioned to divert light downward for accent lighting or to diffuse the strength of the light when direct lighting is not needed. They are made from durable molded plastic that boasts high impact strength to ensure lasting performance, and stainless steel mounting hardware is included. These covers are compatible with Heise LED rock lights, and are installed easily over the existing lights, so drilling additional holes to mount them on a vehicle is unnecessary.

Axxess® Launches New Integration Accessories at SEMA

Holly Hill, Fla. – Axxess^® by Metra Electronics^® has expanded its product line to include additional vehicle applications for popular integration solutions and will showcase these new products at the SEMA show. Launching at the show are new vehicle-specific DSP packages, MOST25 audio system interfaces, Total Control series interfaces, a backup camera retention harness, interfaces designed for Pioneer^® radios, OnStar^® retention interfaces, and more. These new automotive accessories will be displayed from October 31 to November 3 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center at Metra's main SEMA Show booth, #10539. These new integration accessories are designed to help installers deliver upgraded sound systems and everyday convenience to drivers.

DSP Packages

Axxess's new DSPL and DSPX packages include applications to fit select GM vehicles and a much-anticipated integration for 2021-up* Teslas with amplified systems. This package will be among the first of its kind in the industry, designed specifically to upgrade the audio system of this vehicle brand. These DSP packages include amplifier bypass harnesses and feature combined digital signal processor and data interface technologies that allow installers to upgrade their music experience and customize their sound system. The DSP is designed to integrate with factory audio systems and retain factory chimes and voice prompts. Axxess's DSPL series provides six channels of output and a 15-band graphic EQ per channel, while the DSPX series features 10 channels of output and a selectable 31-band graphic EQ or 5-band parametric EQ per channel. Both products offer selectable crossover slopes, feature independent equalization for each output, and the ability to read, write, and store configurations for future recall. All tuning is done via Bluetooth^® wireless technology in a free downloadable app for smartphones and tablets. The Axxess app is compatible with both Android^® and Apple^® devices.

MOST25 Interfaces

Axxess is debuting new interfaces designed for vehicles with MOST25 amplified audio systems. These interfaces provide accessory 12-volt power, parking brake, reverse, and speed sense NAV outputs, retain audio controls on the steering wheel, and are micro “B” USB updatable.

New applications include the following vehicles:

Total Control Interfaces

Two new interfaces have been added to Axxess's Total Control Series, designed for use when replacing the radio in the 2009-2016 Porsche and the 2016-up* Mercedes. These products utilize patented auto-detect technology that automatically detects the vehicle type, radio connection, and preset controls while allowing the ability to dual-assign steering wheel controls. They provide wires for multimedia radios (parking brake, reverse, speed sense), accessory power, a 12-volt illumination output, and retaining R.A.P., balance, and fade. The Axxess Total Control Series is a universal solution designed to work with all major radio brands and can be manually programmed for most vehicles. They will retain memory settings even after battery disconnection or interface removal.

Backup Camera Retention Interface

Axxess will also display a new backup camera retention interface for the 2008-2015 Volkswagen. This interface allows the factory camera to be used with an aftermarket radio. A convenient, plug-n-play design saves integrators time since cutting wires is not required for installation.

Pioneer Radio Interfaces

Axxess is introducing various vehicle-specific interfaces at SEMA for installing select Pioneer^® radio models. With these interfaces, vehicle information and settings controlled on the factory screen are retained, displayed, and controlled on the Pioneer^® touchscreen. These displays, such as HVAC functions, would otherwise be lost after replacing the head unit. The built-in integration technology from Axxess also retains safety chimes through an included offboard speaker, retains audio controls on the steering wheel, retains R.A.P. (Retained Accessory Power), and provides 12-volt 10-amp accessory power and NAV output for parking brake, reverse, and speed sense. These interfaces allow for auto stop/start override, if equipped, and the retention and adjustment of the OE Personalization Settings. Total Control interfaces are installed with easy plug-n-play connectivity, and a radio antenna adapter and an antenna adapter for GPS are included. These interfaces will retain OnStar^® functionality, chimes, balance and fade, and R.A.P. (retained accessory power). They also provide NAV outputs, including parking brake, reverse, speed sense, and 12-volt 10-amp accessory power.

Turn-on Interface

The AXTO-MAX interface is designed to fit 2016-up* Nissan Maximas with amplified systems. Interfaces from this series are intended for vehicles that require a data signal to turn on OEM amplifiers, retain rear seat entertainment, and more. This new interface will retain the factory backup camera, the audible parking sensor warning, the factory AUX-IN jack, and balance. It also provides accessory power (12-volt 10-amp) and wires for multimedia radios (park brake, reverse, speed sense). This interface can be paired with the AXSWC steering wheel control interface (sold separately), and a pre-wired AXSWC harness is included.

Add-a-Sub Interfaces

Various new interfaces from Axxess's Add-a-Sub series will be introduced at SEMA to fit select Chrysler, Ford, and GM vehicles. These interfaces have 2-channel non-fading 5V RMS output, a fixed low pass frequency of 234Hz, and 250mA remote turn-on output. There are options designed for amplified and non-amplified vehicles, and a bass knob & vehicle-specific harness are included. New applications to be displayed at SEMA include:

Metra's first dash kit for the new Ford Bronco, the 107-FD2, is designed to fit 2021-2023 vehicles with factory 8” screens. This dash kit is exclusively manufactured to install Pioneer’s 6.8-inch modular receivers into the dash, like the DMH-C2550NEX and the DMH-C2500NEX†. This kit will also accommodate most shallow-mount or L-shaped radios with the chassis at the top of the screen. The 107-FD2 has a glossy ABS trim panel to match the aftermarket radio’s finish.

The new 107-CH6B TurboTactile™ dash kit for select 2019-Up* RAM trucks features a built-in OLED screen that displays the status of climate functions. Additional factory-style hard buttons have laser-etched graphics for access to vehicle personalization menus. The buttons control features that are typically lost after removing the factory radio. Metra’s built-in patented interface technology retains climate control functions, factory amplifier, and steering wheel control features. Additionally, the 107-CH6B is exclusively manufactured to install Pioneer’s 6.8-inch modular receivers, like the DMH-C2550NEX and the DMH-WC5700NEX†, into the dash of 2019-Up* RAM trucks with the factory 8.4-inch screen and dual-zone climate. This kit will also accommodate most shallow-mount or L-shaped radios with the chassis at the top of the screen. TurboTactile™ kits are painted to match the factory finish and include installation parts for Double-DIN aftermarket radio installations.

The new 95-7643 dash kit designed to fit the 2013-2020 Nissan Pathfinder will combine the best of what the TurboTouch and TurboTactile kits offer. This kit features easy-to-use rotary knobs that allow for the control of climate functions along with a 7” touchscreen that retains most of the features typically lost when replacing the factory radio. Additional factory-style hard buttons have laser-etched graphics for access to vehicle personalization menus. Metra’s built-in patented interface technology retains climate control, safety, and steering wheel control features. The vehicle’s hazard button and passenger airbag indicator have also been integrated into the kit, which is painted scratch-resistant matte black to match the factory finish and includes installation parts needed for a Double-DIN aftermarket radio installation.

The AXPIO-MAV1 dash kit designed to fit 2022-Up* Ford Maverick and the AXPIO-NI2 designed to fit the 2013-2020 Nissan Pathfinder are fully integrated dash kit packages designed specifically for select Pioneer^® receivers†. These complete solutions include an AXPIO Series interface, vehicle-specific harnessing, a dash kit, and more. Vehicle information and settings controlled on the factory screen are retained, displayed, and managed on the Pioneer^® touchscreen. These settings would otherwise be lost after replacing the head unit. The built-in integration technology from Axxess also retains audio controls on the steering wheel, retains R.A.P. (Retained Accessory Power), and provides accessory power (12-volt-10-amp) and NAV output for the parking brake, reverse, and speed sense.

Holly Hill, Fla. – Heise LED Lighting Systems^® by Metra Electronics^® is bringing new ambient lighting kits to SEMA 2023. A new 18-piece chasing interior ambient lighting kit, a chasing LED ambient door lighting kit, and a chasing LED ambient dash lighting kit will be showcased from October 31 through November 3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Chasing Interior Ambient Lighting Kit

The 18-piece HE-AMB-CAR is a complete chasing ambient lighting kit that includes everything installers need to transform the interior of any car from ordinary to extraordinary. Ambient LED lighting for the dash, footwells, door handles, door pockets, and doors is included, surpassing that of luxury cars on the market, and the chasing patterns create a fun sci-fi effect. Additionally, a new reverse/door trigger function is activated by connecting the trigger to the door circuit. This option switches the entire kit to a solid white display when one of the vehicle's doors is opened and resumes a chasing display once the door closes. This kit includes five Heise Connect chasing controllers that can easily be grouped within the free downloadable Heise Connect app for smartphones and tablets. One controller is installed in the dash and connects to the two dash strips and the four footwell lights. The remaining four controllers are installed within each of the vehicle's doors and connect to the door's LED strip, handle accent light, and pocket light. Using five controllers makes installation easier and faster than running multiple extension cables through the door boots.

Chasing LED Ambient Door Lighting Kit

Installers can add ambient lighting along the interior contours of any vehicle's doors with the HE-AMB-2DR two-door kit. This kit includes two 2.5-foot chasing LED ambient mini strips, two chasing Heise Connect controllers, and two RF remotes. It is designed to add lighting accents to door panels reminiscent of modern luxury vehicles. A controller is included for each door for simplified installation.

Chasing LED Ambient Dash Lighting Kit

The HE-AMB-2KT quickly and easily adds brilliant ambient lighting along the contours of any vehicle's interior. This kit includes two chasing LED mini strips, a chasing Heise Connect controller, and an RF remote. Each light strip has an ultra-dense LED configuration that creates fluid motion and is controlled via the free downloadable Heise Connect mobile app for smart devices.

The HE-CHASE-CB Heise Connect chasing controller featured in these new ambient lighting kits is specifically designed to work with Heise Chasing LEDs, making customization and control of these products effortless. It features two wireless control options; an included remote control or via the Heise Connect downloadable app for smartphones or tablets. Users can easily group multiple controllers through the app, and every controller has left and right zones for independent turn signal control wires and a dedicated brake light trigger wire. This product works with all Heise LED Chasing products. It can be controlled via the Heise Connect App, which allows users to remotely control Heise LED lighting products from the palm of their hand.

The Heise Connect app automatically connects via Bluetooth^® wireless technology and detects the type of control box connected to the app, RGB, RGBW, or Chasing, allowing groups of all products to be used and controlled within the same mobile app. For chasing Heise LED products such as the new ambient LED kits, users can select from 170+ pre-programmed moving patterns. There is also a DIY chasing pattern option that allows for selecting up to 16 colors and 3 motion effects. Heise LED to Debut New Vehicle Lighting at SEMA 2023

Holly Hill, Fla. – Heise LED Lighting Systems^® by Metra Electronics^® is bringing an assortment of new RGB, RGBW, and Chasing vehicle lighting to SEMA 2023. On display will be innovative accent lighting kits, single expandable wheel rings, rock light expansion packs, a variety of chasing LED tubes, low voltage chasing extension cables, and more. These products will be showcased from October 31 through November 3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, and include:

Chasing Accent Lighting Kits

Heise LED is introducing three new accent lighting kits to add brilliant LEDs to vehicles. They are displaying a kit to illuminate truck beds, a kit to add backlighting to vehicle front grilles, and a kit that dramatically illuminates both the front and rear interior footwells. The new chasing LED Truck Bed Lighting Kit (HE-CHASE-BED), Grille Lighting Kit (HE-CHASE-GRILLE), and Interior Lighting Kit (HE-CHASE-INT) each come with a Heise Connect chasing controller and include all the chasing LED tubes, cables, and hardware needed for easy installation.

Single RGB, RGBW, and Chasing Expandable Wheel Rings

Heise LED will also display new single expandable wheel rings available in RGB, RGBW, and chasing options that make it easy to replace a damaged wheel ring or enhance a lighting system by illuminating a vehicle's mounted spare tire. There are two new sets for each LED lighting option with wheel rings that expand from either 11-inch to 14-inch or 15-inch to 18-inch in size. A split ring design makes it easy to assemble and adjust the aluminum wheel rings to fit the wheel's diameter. Each kit includes two aluminum expandable wheel ring segments, a cuttable LED strip, a 10-foot extension cable, a Y adapter, thread lock, mounting brackets, and hardware.

Rock Light Expansion Packs

New rock light expansion packs that quickly and easily expand a vehicle's Heise LED lighting system or replace damaged rock lights will be displayed. These kits are available in RGB, RGBW, or chasing options and can be paired with virtually any Heise LED product. They include four daisy-chainable rock lights, four curved rubber-covered mounting bases, four 10-foot extension cables, and a drill template. These lights can be paired with their respective RGB, RGBW, or chasing Heise Connect controller, sold separately.

Chasing LED Tubes

Also on display will be new chasing LED tubes that installers can use to customize the LED lighting system on any vehicle or easily replace a damaged light with the correct size chasing LED Tube. These lights have both an input and output to be used anywhere in a chasing daisy chain of lights and are available in 9-inch (HE-CHASE-T9), 12-inch (HE-CHASE-T12), 18-inch (HE-CHASE-T18), 28-inch (HE-CHASE-T28), and 48-inch (HE-CHASE-T48) lengths.

Heise Connect Low Voltage Chasing Extension Cables

SEMA attendees will also learn about new low-voltage chasing extension cables designed for integration with the Heise Connect low-voltage chasing controller (HE-CHASELV-CB). These cables provide flexibility and convenience, allowing installers to extend and expand their illumination possibilities like never before. These cables, available in 2-foot (HE-CLV-2EXT), 4-foot (HE-CLV-4EXT), and 10-foot (HE-CLV-10EXT) lengths, make it easy to extend chasing LED lighting to every corner of a vehicle to illuminate everything from the undercarriage to the interior to the engine bay. They are constructed from high-quality materials to ensure reliable power distribution, a stable connection, and long-lasting performance. Heise LED is also introducing a new 6-inch low voltage chasing Y adapter (HE-CLV-Y) that allows installers to create intricate and elaborate lighting setups by effortlessly splitting a daisy chain of multiple lighting components for versatile customization.

Wheel Ring Backbone Y Harness Sets

Heise LED will also debut new RGB (HE-RGB-WWH), RGBW (HE-RGBW-WWH), and chasing (HE-CHASE-WWH) wheel ring backbone Y harness sets at the SEMA show designed to help maintain LED lighting systems and keep them operating at peak performance. These sets include left and right harnesses and let installers replace damaged cables without purchasing a new lighting kit. The harnesses can also be used to design a custom lighting system by connecting rock lights or other devices.

Heise Connect Controller RF Remote

Another new item that Heise LED will introduce for 2023 is an RF remote that works with all Heise Connect controllers to operate RGB, RGBW, or chasing lighting systems. This will serve as a replacement for lost or damaged controller remotes and will also act as a secondary remote for users who wish to have a backup or have more than one person control a vehicle's LED lights at the same time.

These new products work cohesively with all Heise RGB, RGBW, or chasing LED lighting, respectively, as part of the Heise Connect Universe (HCU). When connected to Heise Connect RGB, RGBW, or chasing controllers, they can be controlled via the Heise Connect app, available for download on smartphones and tablets. The app features a selectable color wheel that lets users choose from 16 million RGB color options, and a true white light color option is available with RGBW products. Users can also select from 24 pre-programmed patterns for RGB and RGBW and 170+ pre-programmed moving patterns for Chasing. A DIY pattern option can be chosen for chasing products, allowing for selecting up to 16 colors and 3 motion effects. The app also features independent left and right turn signal triggers, a brake trigger, and a music sync function.

New Axxess® Line Output Converters and Accessories Debut at SEMA

Holly Hill, Fla. – Axxess^® by Metra Electronics^® is unveiling new high-voltage active line output converters (LOCs), an active LOC with bass enhancement processor, active LOCs with bass restoration, load resistors, vehicle-specific active LOC T-harnesses, and active noise canceling (ANC) bypass harnesses products at the 2023 SEMA Show. These products are designed to give car audio enthusiasts reliability and convenience when designing and powering their audio systems and will be displayed from October 31 to November 3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. High-Voltage Active Line Output Converters (LOCs)

These new LOCs have universal applications and enable installers to add aftermarket amplifiers to OEM source units to make factory systems sound great! This product line features incredible input power capabilities, a load selector, a clip indicator, enhanced output controls, and noise isolation countermeasures. Axxess will also offer an add-on product, the AX-RM1, that plugs into their Pro Series and LD Series LOC products to provide an additional subwoofer level adjustment via an external bass knob. The AX-LOC product line will include a variety of options to fit installers' unique needs.

6-Channel Premium Active Summing LOC

The AX-LOC6.6-PRO is a 6-channel Active Summing LOC from the Axxess Pro Series that provides seamless integration by summing OEM audio signals, delivering a full-range output that captures every detail and nuance of audio tracks. Various frequency input signals are taken from an OEM amplifier or OEM source unit and output as a full-range summed signal required for aftermarket equipment. The result is enhanced clarity, depth, and balance so that music can be enjoyed like never before. A compact remote control is included featuring a knob for adjusting the primary volume of each of the six channels, and a second knob for controlling the bass level of channels five and six.

Active LOC with Bass Enhancement Processor

This active LOC with a bass enhancement processor has cutting-edge features to enhance the

sound of audio systems, capturing the full range of deep tones within music. This device seamlessly integrates into a vehicle's factory audio system, preserving the original aesthetics. It scans incoming audio signals from the radio to replace low-frequency information that is lost in compressed music, such as missing bass tones. It then increases bass response accordingly with a built-in line driver. Adaptive activation modes let users choose between a traditional 12-volt remote trigger, the simplicity of DC offset, or audio sense activation for ultimate customization.

This LOC features a programmable subsonic harmonizer that filters out subsonic noise, protecting speakers while enhancing overall clarity. High-voltage output settings unleash the full potential of an audio system, providing an impressive 10-volt output voltage. Installers control their audio experience using the included remote that adjusts bass enhancement levels and output volumes with the touch of a button. Users can precisely tailor their audio experience using built-in load resistor settings, seamlessly matching the requirements of OE equipment. Whether installed with a high-end OE system or a standard radio and amplifier, this technology allows users to align the characteristics for optimal sound reproduction.

Active LOCs with Bass Restoration:

Axxess’s AX-BXLOC2 and AX-BXLOC2-PRO are compact 2-channel line output converters with active input circuitry, allowing them to accept speaker-level signals of up to 400 watts per channel from factory-installed source units or amplifiers. They convert them to high-quality pre-amp signals that can then be directed to aftermarket amplifiers. The AX-BXLOC2 prevents factory audio systems from regulating lower frequencies and reducing the output of bass frequencies as the volume increases. A Bass-X restoration circuit in the LOC allows users to enjoy their music as it was recorded while maintaining the use of factory volume and steering wheel controls. The AX-BXLOC2-PRO includes these features, plus a ground isolation switch, multiple turn-on modes, and built-in load resistors for use with factory radios or amplifiers that mute the audio signal when factory speakers are disconnected.

Load Resistors

Axxess's load resistors solve common problems for installers adding aftermarket equipment while providing the best possible audio signal. For example, factory audio systems in modern vehicles are designed to mute the radio and/or amplifier output should a speaker fail or get disconnected. Axxess load resistors prevent this so that installers can add aftermarket equipment. These products use specific values to allow for the best possible audio signal and safely stabilize the output of a factory audio system. The AX-LR product line is available in 20-ohm, 39-ohm, or 60-ohm options to fit a variety of vehicles, such as select late-model Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, RAM, and Fiat models.

Vehicle-Specific Active LOC T-Harnesses

Axxess will display new active LOC T-harnesses that make it easy to add a subwoofer or a complete audio system to a variety of vehicle applications. These harnesses are designed to work with the Axxess active line output converters and are versatile enough to be compatible with most sound processors, line output converters, and amplifiers with high-level inputs. They provide convenient access to the speaker-level output signals from a factory radio, making installation easier. They provide signal connections for an audio system, including constant 12-volt (10-amp fuse), ground, and remote turn-on leads, and simplify the connection process for devices like active signal processors. These T-harnesses are easily installed by disconnecting the factory radio and connecting the two T-harness plugs. One plug connects to the radio, while the other snaps into the previously removed plug. This setup allows the radio to remain fully connected to the vehicle while providing additional wires for adding an amplifier.

These T-harnesses are equipped with mating 8-pin plugs that remain connected when installers add a subwoofer amplifier, ensuring that the factory speakers continue to receive power from the radio. On the radio side of the T-harness, there is a pre-wired speaker-level output audio signal for a dedicated subwoofer amplifier or powered subwoofer, making the installation process highly versatile and compatible with various setups. To power an aftermarket system, the wiring can be adjusted by utilizing the 8-pin connectors and harnesses for the integration of a 4-channel amplifier. These Axxess T-harnesses include the materials needed for routing the outputs of an aftermarket amplifier back through the factory wiring to reach the speakers.

Vehicle-Specific ANC Bypass Harnesses

Axxess will introduce new active noise canceling bypass harnesses designed to ensure smooth speaker and subwoofer upgrades for various vehicles with ANC audio systems at SEMA. These new harnesses maintain proper communication between audio equipment and the ANC system, giving listeners complete control over their music without sound distortion, interference, or conflict between devices. They prevent the built-in microphones within ANC systems from creating compatibility issues by mistaking aftermarket speakers and subwoofer vibrations for interference. Axxess's ANC bypass harnesses also prevent Audio system upgrades from affecting a vehicle's sensitive electronics and causing system errors.

New Upgrades for Jeep® are Coming to SEMA 2023

Holly Hill, Fla. – Metra Electronics^® is introducing new aftermarket accessories and RGB lights designed to fit select Jeep^® Gladiator and Wrangler vehicles at this year's SEMA Show. These products will be showcased from October 31 to November 3 at Metra's off-roading and powersports SEMA booth, #60031, in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Metra is introducing new dashboard speaker grilles, lower dash speaker grille cut-ins, replacement fender clips and rivets, an A-pillar 8 gang switch panel system, 7” LED headlights and 4" LED fog lights with RGB halo, and a turn signal trigger harness. These new accessories are designed for popular Jeep^® models and provide customization options that are durable enough to withstand off-roading wear and tear.

Dashboard Speaker Grilles and Lower Dash Speaker Grille Cut-ins

Metra will display two new styles of custom-designed speaker grilles at SEMA, designed to enhance the interior appearance of select Jeeps when installing aftermarket speakers. The JP-1017 is a set of dashboard speaker grilles designed to fit the 2018-Up* Wrangler JL and the 2020-Up* Gladiator JT. The JP-1018 are lower dash speaker grille cut-ins designed to fit the 2018-2023 Wrangler JL and the 2020-2023 Gladiator JT. The JP-1017 allows speakers to be upgraded to a larger tweeter or mid-bass speaker for a more vivid sound while adding a bold style. These speaker grilles feature a black metal mesh grille with silver accents for a rugged and tough off-road look and are designed to complement the new JP-1018 lower dash speaker grille cut-ins perfectly. The JP-1018 allows installers to widen the factory 4-inch opening to accommodate an upgrade to 6.5-inch speakers. They are designed to complement the JP-1017 dashboard speaker covers and Metra's popular JP-1014 dash speaker pods.

Replacement Fender Clips and Rivets

Metra will introduce products at SEMA that help installers reinstall fenders on the 2018-Up* Jeep^® Wrangler JL and 2020-Up* Jeep^® Gladiator when swapping them out and installing new fender lights more efficiently. The JP-FCLIP replacement fender clips and the JP-FPIN replacement fender rivets are designed to replace OE parts that often break during the removal of the fender. These products are sold in convenient 30-piece packs and will save installers time while providing a secure, factory-quality fit. These products eliminate the hassle of repairing or reusing broken clips and offer a convenient solution to single-use OE rivets that commonly break during fender removal.

A-Pillar 8 Gang Switch Panel System

The JP-APS-JK is an 8 gang switch panel system that features vehicle-specific brackets, making it a custom solution for the 2007-2018 Jeep^® Wrangler JK. The included replacement A-pillar cover mounts the water-resistant switch panel vertically, and two types of adapters are provided to fit the panel to Jeep Wrangler JK interiors. This versatile panel can handle all types of 12V DC accessories and allows users to control up to 8 different auxiliary LED lights or electrical devices. An included sheet of 50 decals is designed to fit the vertical orientation of the panel and customize it accordingly, with blue LED backlighting to illuminate the switches. The compact under-hood control box is rated IP68 and easily affixes to OE mounting locations along with the resettable 60-amp circuit breaker using two included vehicle-specific brackets. There are two 30-amp, two 20-amp, two 10-amp, and two 5-amp circuits that can be programmed to latching (on/off) or momentary. T-Spec's V10 fully tinned OFC marine-grade power and ground cables are included to power the controller for maximum reliability.

7” LED Headlights and 4" LED Fog Lights with RGB Halo

Metra will display two new light sets at SEMA designed to fit the 1997-2018 Jeep^® Wrangler TJ and JK, which can also fit the 2018-2024 Jeep^® Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT using Metra's JP-JLB7 adapters. The JP-702RGB is a pair of 7-inch LED headlights with RGB halo, and the JP-702RGBFL are 4" LED Fog Lights with RGB halo. Both of these sets come with a Heise Connect RGB controller that allows users to easily control their RGB lighting from the palm of their hand when paired with the Heise Connect free downloadable app for smartphones or tablets. The app lets users choose from 16 million RGB color options with a selectable color wheel and provides seamless control with endless customization options. Turn Signal Trigger Harness

Metra will also display its new turn signal trigger harness, the JP-TSH2, for the 2007-2018 Jeep^® Wrangler JK. This harness makes the installation of aftermarket fender lights, alarms, lights, cameras, blind spot sensors, or other equipment that requires left and right light triggers hassle-free. It installs between the factory connector and the wires for aftermarket lighting and eliminates the need to cut or splice a stock harness. Both left and right-side harnesses are included and provide triggers for turn signals and the parking light.

The MPS-SW6 offers two control options: switch knockout or app-controlled. This IP67 water-resistant rating switch box features the latest MOSFET™ chips designed for harsh environments and offers 700-watt power handling capability. Single Zone Controller with Bluetooth^® Wireless Technology and Remote

The IBBTR18 is an easy-to-install controller with Bluetooth^® wireless technology and a wireless remote that puts audio controls at a user's fingertips. It is equipped with built-in connectivity and auxiliary input, and its compact size makes it easy to conceal. A high-quality internal digital signal processor produces lossless audio output to the sound system. The controller is small enough to mount to a steering wheel easily and is rated IPX7, making it ideal for marine and powersports applications.

3-Zone Controller with Bluetooth^® Wireless Technology

The IBBTR19 controller shares the same features as the IBBTR18, but it allows users to control the volume independently for three zones or simultaneously on the primary setting. An LED backlight on the remote indicates which zone is active. The controller is equipped with built-in connectivity with Bluetooth^®technology and auxiliary input. This 3-zone controller supports APTX-HD, APTX, APTX-X Low Latency, SBC, and ACC audio formats.

Micro Line Output Converters

Install Bay will introduce two ultra-compact LOCs at Metra's SEMA booth; a 2-channel, the IBMLOC2, and a 4-channel, the IBMLOC4. These new micro LOCs allow car audio installers to add an amplifier to nearly any radio, so their customers can experience true sound accuracy at any volume level with all the highs and lows of the original audio. Unlike traditional LOCs, these devices are designed without inductors to deliver a flat 20Hz-20kHz frequency response at all volume levels. Using factory speaker wires, these innovative micro LOCs automatically convert the speaker signal into both an RCA signal and a 100-milli-amp 12-volt remote wire using DC offset. With the ability to turn on multiple amplifiers, their 12-volt remote wires deliver plenty of power without requiring switched 12-volt power sources. These LOCs accept up to 80 watts (20 volts) of input signal and deliver up to 10-volt output signal. The OEM smart radios in today's vehicles have a built-in protection circuit that will shut off or distort audio on one or more channels if the load on the OEM radio exceeds a specific impedance range. These LOCs feature built-in 60-ohm load resistors for those OE radios.

Replacement Sockets

An assortment of convenient new 6-point socket replacement packs will be of interest to SEMA attendees who are familiar with the frustration of misplacing their sockets. These sockets will come in a wide range of sizes, including 7mm, 8mm, and 10mm in 3/8 drive or 1/4 drive. Each size has short or deep options and will be available in 5-packs. Install Bay will also offer 5-packs of magnetic 1/4 sockets in the same size and replacement #2 Phillips bits.

With the convenience of these replacement sockets and Phillips bits, installers will avoid the hassle of incomplete tool sets or searching for missing components while completing a project.

Axxess to Simplify Product Line SKUs Ahead of SEMA 2023

Holly Hill, Fla. – Axxess^® by Metra Electronics^® announced today that the brand has begun simplifying and restructuring its vehicle-specific interface product line, focusing on condensing the number of SKUs on the market. This process will ultimately benefit dealers and installers of Axxess products, making it easier to quickly locate the correct integration solution for the job at hand. This initiative will begin ahead of the SEMA show, where the brand will display its new, revamped interface products from October 31 to November 4 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

"The primary goal is to incorporate more vehicle applications into a smaller number of individual products so dealers can more easily locate what they need and keep less stock on-site," says Jason Anderson, Metra's Vice President of Research and Development. He adds, "I feel that after this transition, more integrators will prefer Axxess because of how easy it will be to find what they need for each vehicle." Another significant part of this plan will be an overhaul of Axxess's Vehicle Fit Guide, which is the primary tool available to installers to search the brand's product line for the appropriate interface to fit their audio installation needs.

The team at Axxess will upgrade its system to allow customers to find the interface they need quickly by asking themselves three key questions. For example, a GM vehicle would prompt dealers to respond to the following:

Do you want to retain OnStar^®?
Do you need to retain an OE amplifier?
Do you want to retain steering wheel controls?

These questions will clarify what they wish to retain while upgrading a vehicle's sound system and match the appropriate interface product accordingly. It is notable that Axxess will achieve this system redesign without changing part numbers, with the exception of a few products, and will maintain full coverage of all vehicle applications in its current lineup.

Heise LED Ships Expandable Wheel Rings with Patent-Pending Design

Holly Hill, Fla. – Heise LED Lighting Systems^® by Metra Electronics^® is now shipping expandable wheel rings that debuted at the SEMA show in November. They are available in RGB, RGBW, and Chasing options and feature a revolutionary patent-pending design that makes it easy to add brilliant LED lighting to the wheels of any vehicle. These wheel rings are a game-changer for automotive lighting installers because they offer the ability to increase or decrease the diameter of the rings, making it easier to cater to more customers while keeping less inventory in stock. There are two kits available for each LED lighting option with wheel rings that expand from either 11" to 14" or 15" to 18" in size. The kits include:

● Four aluminum expandable wheel rings

● Cuttable LED strips

● Mounting brackets and hardware

● Two backbone harnesses for the left and right sides of the vehicle

● Heise Connect controller

● RF remote

● Thread lock for worry-free installation

Each aluminum wheel ring features a split ring design that makes them easy to assemble and adjust to fit the diameter of the wheel. Installers choose how far to expand the ring diameter by aligning the pre-drilled holes, each of which increases the diameter by .25". An "L" channel aligning track helps guide the two ring pieces together while adding strength and preventing the ring from bowing. Holes drilled on the outer “L” track are non-threaded, while the holes on the inner "L" track are threaded for M3 screws, eliminating the need for bulky nuts.

RGB, RGBW, or chasing LED lighting strips are included for the inside and outside of each ring with 3M double-sided backing. They are IP68 rated to be water-resistant and ensure that they will withstand the elements. The LEDs are controlled via the Heise Connect mobile smartphone app when paired with the included Heise Connect controller. These products are in stock and shipping now. Metra Electronics® Reintroduces Tsunami® Brand

Holly Hill, Fla. – Metra Electronics^® has announced the revival of their popular Tsunami^® brand, to be sold exclusively to brick and mortar dealers for in-store sales only. New clean wire solutions are available now. Products from this brand will include audio connections, power, ground, and speaker wire, amp installation kits, battery terminals, distribution blocks, fuse holders, and more. Tsunami^® is also offering an economy series with RCA audio cables, fuse holders, amp kits, and speaker wire that integrators will find to be a cost-effective solution for their everyday wiring needs. These new products will be serialized using unique labeling, with no online sales permitted, for better supply chain control.

Audio Connections

Tsunami's new TSX line of RCA cables are available in 2 ft to 21 ft and utilize a pair of OFC mini 59 coax, optimized for ultimate noise rejection and clean signal transfer. The mini 59 allows for flat cable construction, which is easier to run and conceal. "We wanted to push the boundaries of what an RCA cable is, and our engineering team went to work creating an RCA XLR hybrid. This hybrid takes the advantages of true left, right, and drain, while maintaining the transfer format of an RCA," says Jason Anderson, Metra's Vice President of Research and Development. This fusion of technology also creates a functionally directional cable that performs with crystal clarity.

Power, Ground, and Speaker Wire

Tsunami's unique bulk wire solutions are elegant enough for the showroom floor and designed to save time in the install bay. All power, ground, and speaker wire products in this line are provided in an easy-pull box, which houses sleeved cable with 2-tone braiding. Included in the box are all of the ferrules, heat shrink, and ring terminals needed to complete the cable and to make the installation seamless. This efficient bulk wire setup is not available from any other manufacturer in the industry.

Amp Installation Kits

Amp installation kits are available in 8, 4, and 1/0 GA options and are designed by Tsunami to offer installers a straightforward solution in comparison to charging per foot. A single line item on the customer quote covers all the power and ground products needed for a single amplifier installation. The TSX series amp kits include 18 feet of power wire and 2 ground cables to ensure an ample amount of product, even for large SUV installations. These amp kits provide the same quality as completing the installation piecemeal, as all the items included are identical to their a la carte counterparts.

Battery Terminals

Since quality battery terminals are crucial to the longevity of an audio installation, Tsunami designed theirs with solid brass construction and T20 Torx^® set screws. This ensures that maximum current can flow with minimum resistance being added to the system. Brass components are finished with satin nickel plating, improving their appearance and durability. The brand's TSX models feature a futuristic design that allows for the Tsunami logo to be placed after the part has been installed so that it can be orientated perfectly.

Power and Ground Distribution

Tsunami's solid brass power and ground distribution blocks are a perfect solution, whether building a multi-amp system or adding high-powered accessories. These power blocks have independently fused outputs to protect the individual loads that are connected, while the ground blocks consist of a single solid piece to consolidate returns to a unified grounding point. These products perfectly match the futuristic design of the Tsunami battery terminal and fuse holders.

Fuse Holders

Tsunami's Inline and Rotating Inline fuse holders help build a strong, professional-looking audio system. Solid brass components with satin nickel plating create an aesthetic and durable link between an amp and the vehicle's battery. These contacts ensure high conductivity while protecting the audio system. Sturdy, impact-resistant housing protects fuses from heat and moisture and easily mounts to the vehicle. The included T20 Torx^® set screws can be installed using a single tool, while the same forward-thinking design allows for perfect positioning of the Tsunami logo.

New Heise Connect App Goes Live for Smart Devices

Holly Hill, Fla. – Heise LED^® by Metra Electronics^®has designed an all-new Heise Connect app that is now available for download on smartphones and tablets. The app allows users to remotely control Heise LED automotive lighting accessories from the palm of their hand. This app works cohesively with all Heise LED lighting, which will now be known as the Heise Connect Universe (HCU) of products. An intuitive user interface automatically connects via Bluetooth^®and detects the type of control box connected to the app; RGB, RGBW, or Chasing. Groups of all products can be used and controlled within the same mobile app, including three new Heise Connect controllers that debuted at SEMA: the HE-RGB-CB, HE-RGBW-CB, and HE-CHASE-CB.

"We've taken the time to make a feature-rich app that is stable, convenient, easy-to-use, and secure," says Jon Osborne, Brand Manager at Metra Electronics. The app is packed full of innovative features. A selectable color wheel lets users choose from 16 million RGB color options, and a true white light color option is available with RGBW products. Users can also select from 24 pre-programmed patterns for RGB and RGBW, and 170+ pre-programmed moving patterns for Chasing. A DIY pattern option can be chosen for Chasing products that allows for selecting up to 16 colors and 3 motion effects. The app also features independent left and right turn signal triggers, a brake trigger, and a music sync function.

iBEAM Begins Shipping New Safety Solutions

Holly Hill, Fla. – iBEAM Vehicle Safety Systems by Metra Electronics^® is now shipping new safety and surveillance solutions that debuted at the SEMA show in November. These new products include a 9" Live View Streaming Rearview Mirror, a 4K Dual-View Dash Camera With DVR, a Universal Hardwire USB, and a variety of vehicle-specific Rearview Mirror T-Harnesses. These items are designed to increase safety for an assortment of vehicles and are easy to install.

9" Live View Streaming Rearview Mirror

The TE-LVM9 from iBEAM provides full protection for the area surrounding the rear of a vehicle. When driving, this monitor can display a live stream of the rear camera when driving so that the driver has a clear view of what is behind their vehicle on the road. It can also display a standard reflective mirror, and when the driver switches the vehicle into reverse, the built-in 9" monitor will automatically switch to the rear camera to provide guidance when reversing. A G-sensor triggers the camera to begin recording if it detects an impact, so the vehicle is even protected when parked. A memory card (not included) of up to 64GB is supported so that video recordings can be saved and any accidents or incidents behind the vehicle are documented. This product is ideal for trucks, vans, RVs, and other large vehicles with rear blind spots.

4K Dual-View Dash Camera With DVR

iBEAM's TE-DVR-DL4K captures and displays a 140° wide-angle field of view to protect drivers from liability and increase safety. It quickly and easily mounts on the windshield to view and record the area in front of and inside a vehicle. One lens can be directed toward the front windshield to view what is ahead of the vehicle, and one toward the vehicle's interior, or out the rear window to capture the view directly behind the vehicle. Both angles can be displayed simultaneously on the built-in 3-inch viewing screen that sits atop the two camera lenses. The front dash camera features 4K HD recording, the interior camera features 1080p recording including audio which can be stored on a micro memory card of up to 32 GB (not included).

Universal Hardwire USB

The TE-UNIV-USB is an innovative solution that allows installers to conveniently and safely connect and power a vehicle camera or any other USB device. It connects directly to a vehicle's 12-volt power source to provide an alternative to the factory auxiliary power outlet.

Rearview Mirror T-Harnesses

iBEAM has also begun shipping plug-n-play rearview mirror T-harnesses that make connecting a vehicle safety and security camera, DVR, Dash cam, speed detection device or other accessory powered by a USB input easy without cutting your vehicle's factory wiring. Metra Electronics® Serializes Key Products to Improve Supply Chain and Retail Price Monitoring

Holly Hill, Fla. – Metra Electronics^® is excited to announce the launch of a serialization program for some of the manufacturer's most popular product lines. Individual batches of products will be tracked using a unique serialization process, allowing better supply chain control. The company is now serializing its popular Heise Pro Series replacement LED bulbs and will expand this process to include additional products in the near future. This is an effort to enforce the minimum advertised price (MAP) - the lowest price designated by Metra allowed to be publicly displayed for a product on sale by all distribution channels.

Products will now be traced from the moment they are manufactured, which will also prevent the potential sale of counterfeit items. According to Jake Bates, Vice President of Sales for Metra Electronics, the enforcement of the company's MAP policies and pricing standards will serve to keep the overall brand image, product quality, and reputation pristine while protecting Metra's valued customers. A simple procedure has been implemented wherein the manufacturer's team will seek out and purchase products online that fall outside the specified parameters in order to identify the seller. The seller will then be contacted by a Metra representative and provided an opportunity to correct their pricing.

Shuriken to Launch Lithium Series Batteries at SEMA

Holly Hill, Fla. – Shuriken^® by Metra Electronics^® will introduce a new line of Lithium batteries at the 2022 SEMA show, November 1st-4th at the Las Vegas Convention Center. On display will be more than a dozen different products from this new line, designed to fit numerous applications, including audio, motorcycle, marine, auto racing, powersports, solar energy storage, and more. These Lithium Iron and Lithium-ion batteries are an excellent choice for situations where the power source needs to be lightweight and compact, with a quick energy discharge. They weigh much less than other batteries while remaining long-lasting, reliable, and vibration-resistant. Their internal components are sectioned into independent cells that make them safer and prevent them from shorting out if damaged. Products on display at SEMA will include:

Lithium Iron Batteries

Shuriken's new lithium iron (LiFePO4) batteries are a great choice for providing reliable power for numerous applications. They are designed to recharge quickly and hold a charge longer than conventional batteries. These batteries have an overcurrent detection circuit to protect them from damage and can be charged using Constant Current or Constant Voltage. This product line will offer a wide range of battery sizes and amperages, including one with a slim design that easily fits in confined spaces, such as behind interior panels.

Lithium-ion Batteries

The new lithium-ion batteries from Shuriken are ideal for providing reliable power for similar applications, as listed above. However, they are also designed to recharge extremely quickly, with 90% recharge in less than 6 minutes! They also have a longer shelf life during storage and operate through many more cycles than conventional batteries. They feature built-in short circuit protection and are dry cell batteries, which eliminates the risk of spills. These batteries are available in a variety of sizes, types, and amperages, including starting batteries.

Lithium Battery Chargers

Along with its line of new Lithium Series Batteries, Shuriken is introducing 3-Amp and 15-Amp chargers that keep these products fully charged and ready to perform. These reliable battery chargers are specifically designed to work with lithium technology and will recharge the power cells quickly and safely. Positive and negative battery terminal clamps are included for easy connection.

Holly Hill, Fla. – Metra PowerSports^® by Metra Electronics^® will showcase a new Chasing LED Underglow Lighting Kit and a 3ft Chasing LED Whip Light designed to add brilliant lighting to UTVs and golf carts at SEMA 2022. These products install easily to provide fast and durable lighting solutions. They work with the Heise Connect Chasing Controller to allow users to control their LEDs from the palm of their hand when paired with the Heise Connect smartphone app.

3ft Chasing LED Whip Light

The MPS-CHWP-1 is designed for ATVs, UTVs, dune buggies, and other powersports applications. It is strong enough to withstand some of the most extreme off-roading environments with an IP67 rating. In addition, it is stylish yet durable, constructed with a weather-resistant polyolefin cover and a bendable polycarbonate core that is virtually unbreakable.

Chasing LED Underglow Lighting Kit

The MPS-UNDG-KT1 includes (4) 9” and (2) 28” sealed polycarbonate LED tubes, mounting hardware, a Heise Connect Chasing Controller, RF card remote, and extension cables to make installation easy. The Chasing tube layout was designed to separate the left and right sides of the vehicle so that when a pattern is selected within the app, that lighting pattern will track down each side of the vehicle with the same timing. Additionally, the turn signals are zoned so that they have independent left and right triggers.

Heise Connect Chasing Controller

This controller provides 12volt triggers for the option to turn lights red when the vehicle is braking and amber for turn signal indication. Users can choose from 170+ color-changing patterns using the Heise Connect smartphone app with DIY lighting patterns, music sync, and more.
