METRA INTRODUCES AN ANDROID™ APP 

FOR SMARTPHONES AT CES 2011

JANUARY 2011: HOLLY HILL, FL - Metra Electronics is proud to release the first Android™ application for mobile electronics, available at the DROID marketplace.

The Android application is the first application for mobile electronics. It has a vehicle fit guide, brands, contacts, new products and video.

The DROID app offers ease of use for car stereo installers and retailers. From the DROID model smartphone, an install kit for a specific vehicle can be located by make, model, year and various trim levels.

Metra Electronics’ new DROID app also offers access to brands and new products. Contacts for Sales can also be found in the app. The videos section of the application shows the ease of installation using Metra’s kits and accessories.
