METRA ELECTRONICS INTRODUCES BACKUP SAFETY CAMERAS & SENSORS
DECEMBER 2011: HOLLY HILL, FL – Metra Electronics is pleased to announce their new product line of cameras and sensors. The product line consists of cameras and sensors to assist drivers in visibility.
The product line features the following back up cameras:
· Small License Plate Mountable Camera (part number TE-LPC)
· Small Bullet Camera (part number TE-SBC)
· Small Square Camera (part number TE-SSC)
· Through-Hole Camera (part number TE-THC)
IR LEDs for night vision, 120 degree viewing angle, defeat-able parking assist lines, waterproof connections
Each camera has a 170 degree viewing angle, defeat-able parking assist lines and is waterproof.
It also offers accessories:
· Wireless Video Transmitter & Receiver (part number TE-TXRX)
Transmits on 2.4 GHz, working distance up to 6 meters, eliminates need to run a video cable through vehicle
· 3.5” Color Video Screen (part number TE-35VS)
Two video inputs, 3M tape for secure mounting, use when OEM video screen is not available
Parking Sensor Kits and replacement parts are also available, including:
· Front & Rear Parking Assist (part number TE-8PSK)
Works with most vehicles without metal bumpers, adjustable sensitivity detects up to 2.5’ front & 5’ rear, LED display with defeat-able audible alert, learn feature identifies permanent obstructions, waterproof connections
· Rear Parking Assist (part number TE-4PSK)
Works with most vehicles without metal bumpers, adjustable sensitivity detects up to 5’ away, LED display with defeat-able audible alert, learn feature identifies permanent obstructions, additional sensor (sold separately) can be added for front detection, waterproof connections
· Replacement Parking Sensor (part number TE-ES)
6 Meter lead, add to the TE-4PSK for front sensors, can be used to replace any damaged sensors in the TE-4PSK or TE-8PSK
Parking sensors cover up to 2.5 feet in the front and up to 5 feet in the rear; they are great for larger vehicles such as SUVs.
The retail packaging features an easy to understand, icon based system for quick selection. Installers appreciate the clean, uncluttered descriptions with full color photos of each product.
